Fawn Mckay
Fawn McKay was born in Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Reared in the Mormon Church's original family Fawn McKay was able to direct her innovative creative writing skills and impressive researching skills in the creation of an amazing psycho-historical account of Joseph Smith, published in 1945. The book was titled"No Man knows My History. This title was inspired by the funeral sermon given by Joseph Smith, founder of The Church of Latter-Day Saints. The preacher shocked the audience when he said declaring: "You don't even know my name. It's been a long time since you've seen the depths of my soul." My history is unknown to any one. Truth is I'm not even sure. Fawn 29, who was 29 has written. Fawn took on the mantle of writing since that day. Some have deified and abused him, while others have tried to pinpoint the issue. The problem isn't the case that there's not enough documentation but they're rather inconsistent. Compiling these documents - - sifting through first-hand and third-hand sources, fitting Mormons' narratives to those of non-Mormons into a true historical context - can be a challenge. This is both exciting and instructive. This is the kind of task to which Fawn Brodie put her professional energy into. Her work in research and writing earned her fame all over the world: Thaddeus Stephens. "The Devil's Drive" (1959) The Scourge of South. The life of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon, An Intimate historical account (1974) The posthumous.
