Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actor. Paquin who was born in Wellington but was born and raised in Winnipeg made her acting d but on screen in The Piano. At age 11, she became an infant Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. Anna Paquin's full title is Anna Helene Paquin. Born on July 24, 1982, at Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was a Canadian born New Zealand actress. As as a young girl, she was awarded her the Academy Award for best support actress. The role as Flora McGrath - the daughter to an Scottish muffled pianist from New Zealand at mid-19th Century was a part she won at an audition open to all. In her twenties, she had little or any experience in acting. She moved to the United States as a teen. Paquin appeared as Jane Eyre's main character when she was a teen in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (2000) as well as the lead role for the character in Fly Away Home (2000). Paquin portrayed Frankie Addams as a child in the 1996 television version of Carson McCullers novel The Member of the Wedding. Paquin also had a role of the queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's 1997 film Amistad. The actress played teens in the films of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and portrayed the character of the polexia Aphrodisa character in Almost Famous (2000).
