Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of skills, such as being able to direct, act and produce plays, as well as write them teaching, as well as be the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father was British, as is her mother, a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her work at play rehearsals. Anna appeared in several advertisements when she was a child. Anna was transferred to Toronto in the fall of 1999 in order to continue her acting career. She eventually settled down to Los Angeles (California) over the next ten years. Anna was introduced to Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an acting training held in Los Angeles, and they were engaged in the year 2009. Anna was a convert to the Jewish faith in 2011, after she converted to Judaism. The couple was married civilly in December of the same year, and they then renewed their vows in a Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton on April 11, 2011. Bo's relationship with Lauren was highlighted in CNN's top TV Couples ever and named Top TV Couple 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna grew a large internet following on social media due to its success.
