
The third album of his untitled debut is almost complete, Ky-mani is definitely a star in his own right. In February of 1976, Ky-mani Marley was born to legendary Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champion Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. East African words for Ky-mani are a reference to an adventurous traveler. As an East African man, his albums and travels are an adventure. The Journey was his first musical venture. Through an eclectic approach, he was looking for his own niche while exploring the entire musical spectrum and exploring his diverse talents. Many More Roads (Grammy nominated) was Ky-mani's "traditional" reggae album. It brought out Kymani's maturation. The Journey as well as Many More Roads were well accepted throughout the world, which established Ky-Mani's position as an independent "artist". Ky-Mani is a mix of roots reggae hip hop, R&B modern jazz in order to create his sound.
