Pleshette was Christine Broderick's star in Nightingales (1989). She was Jackie Hansen in the television series The Boys Are Back from 1994 until 1995. Pleshette was frequent on the TV show Suzanne Pleshette. Her characters included Maggie Briggs (Good Morning, Miami), 8 Simple Rules and Will & Grace. She was also a part of The Geisha Boy as well as The Birds. She was nominated to an Annie Award for her singing in The Lion King II: Simba's Pride. Pleshette received nominations for two Golden Globe Awards.
